We use have/has to talk about possession, family, and features. Use have with I/you/we/they and has with he/she/it.

have or has?

Use have with I, you, we, they. Use has with he, she, it (one person or thing). Remember: he, she, it -> has.

  • I have two brothers.
  • She has a new phone.
  • We have a big family.

Negative and questions

Make the negative and questions with do/does: I don't have..., She doesn't have..., Do you have...?, Does he have...? After don't/doesn't use have, not has.

  • I don't have a car.
  • He doesn't have time.
  • Do you have any questions?
