Anna worked at a small office. One afternoon, she needed to lock her desk. She looked for her key, but it was not there. She checked her bag, her pockets, and her desk. Nothing. Anna felt worried. Her apartment key was gone.
She asked her friend Tom for help. Tom looked under the desks and near the coffee machine. Anna looked in the bathroom and by the window. After thirty minutes, Tom found it. The key was on the floor near the door. It must have fallen from her pocket when she sat down that morning.
Anna was very happy. She thanked Tom and put the key in a safe place—her bag, in a small pocket. Now she knew where it was.
