My First Day at Work

I was nervous on my first day at the café. My manager, Tom, showed me around the small shop. There were three other workers: Maria, Jake, and Sophie. They all smiled and said hello. Tom taught me how to make coffee. It was difficult at first, but Maria helped me. By lunchtime, I made five good coffees. A customer said 'Thank you!' and left me a small tip. I felt happy. At the end of the day, Sophie invited me for lunch tomorrow. I went home tired but excited. I really liked my new job.
