Learning to Ride a Bike

Tom was seven years old and wanted to ride a bike. His father bought him a red bicycle for his birthday. At first, Tom was nervous. His dad helped him learn in the park. Tom held the handlebars and pushed the pedals. His father ran beside him and held the seat. After many tries, Tom fell down twice, but he did not give up. One sunny day, Tom rode without help for the first time. He was very happy and proud. Now Tom rides his bike every weekend with his friends.
