A Fresh Start in the City

Maria had always lived in a small town, so moving to the city felt scary at first. She had accepted a job as a graphic designer at a tech company, and although she was excited about the opportunity, she worried about living alone in a big, unfamiliar place.

During her first week, Maria felt lonely. The apartment was small, and she didn't know anyone. However, she decided to explore the neighborhood on weekends. She visited cafés, parks, and museums. At a local art gallery, she met James, who worked there. They started chatting about design, and he invited her to join a creative group that met monthly.

Within two months, Maria had made several friends through the group. Her job was challenging but rewarding. She was learning new skills and working on interesting projects. Although she still missed her family back home, she realized that moving had been the right decision. The city was no longer scary—it was becoming her home.
